We are looking for a System Engineer with a background in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, and 1–2 years of experience in the Automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the development and implementation of advanced Connectivity System features/functions;
- Ensuring that the function is aligned with the overall business strategy and goals;
- Project status reporting in internal and external meetings;
- Writing Requirements and Functional Specifications;
- Interfacing with stakeholders to discuss system architecture(s) through workshops and design meetings;
- Issue tracking and defect analysis;
- Analyzing and evaluating performance to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes;
- Supplier steering and coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or similar;
- 1-2 year of experience in the Automotive field (Tier1/OEMs);
- Knowledge of Connectivity/Infotainment System Architecture including hardware, software and user interfaces;
- Knowledge of operating system concepts, such as process management, memory management, file systems and power management;
- Knowledge of automotive standard protocols, such as CAN and Ethernet;
- Knowledge of security principles and best practices for securing Linux systems;
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git;
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex systems;
- Knowledge of open-source software development and licensing;
- Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall;
- Knowledge of software programming languages, such as C, C++, Python, and Java;
- Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems;
- Knowledge of project management tools, such as Jira;
- Familiarity with GNU/Linux and Android operating systems;
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing;

- Take on responsibility, work independently, being able to share achievements with the team;
- Show initiative and work in a structured way;
- Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory.
Workplace: Turin (TO) with availability to travel in Italy and abroad.
